Refugees: Economics and the Future

Today I've been listening to another talk from Gresham College called 'Refugees, economic migration and the future of the world economy' by Nigel Harris.
Harris gives a complete and concise overview of current refugee issues and future policies as well as their impact on world economy. This audio paints a rather pessimistic but realistic picture of the current state of refugee policies and impacts. A good argument is put forward by Harris on how we speak of globalisation, but when it comes to people we are moving increasingly towards nationalisation.
If you're looking to educate yourself on equally pressing topics then I highly reccomend a virtual trip to www.gresham.ac.uk.
